I love their rolls! Super yummy! I order the beef with rice and veggies quite a bit. Spectacular. I frequent this place at least a couple times a month and everything on the menu is pretty good.
It's a bit on the pricier side but it's definitely worth the ambiance and food quality! I love that there's finally a place close by known for their summer rolls! The flavor is delicious and just as good if not better than Brodard in the OC. What's also great is that you can eat outside and chill out with friends. Definitely worth a stop!
The food is pretty good here. We were happy with the cleanliness of the restaurant and the modern aesthetics. We ordered some shrimp rolls, banh beo, bun bo hue, spring rolls, and lemon grass beef rice plate. Overall, everything was good and service was pretty nice. I was happy that I got to order beers to enjoy the meal. I will return again, since this place is casually easy and tastes good without me having to go out of my way as well as wonder about food prep hygiene. LOL. It might seem sterile to some ppl but um I like modern.
We were looking for a quick bite, so I came to Summer Rolls with my family. We arrived at 11:30 so the parking lot was relatively empty and the restaurants had open tables. I recommend going at this time because the place quickly filled up and people were waiting around 12pm.
I ordered the lemongrass beef, and it was delicious! It came with a plate of mint leaves and lettuce so you can make your own wraps. The meats here are full of flavor, next time I will try the other kinds (charbroiled pork, lemongrass chicken, etc.)
Overall great place to sit down and have a quick meal, would recommend!
My go to order is the charbroiled lemon grass beef vermicelli. It is so refreshing and perfect for hot days. The sauce makes it even more flavorful.
The food came to our table pretty quick. The staff were very attentive.
The inside can get pretty loud from all the patrons. All the alcohol options and on display give bar like vibes even though it is more like a restaurant.
I know this spot is called summer rolls. I came here last time and I remember it being really good. This time I came back and only ordered pork chop on rice which was delicious as well! Inside is cozy and they have a mini patio area too which is covered. The waiter was nice and welcoming. This is located in a huge plaza with parking right in front but it gets kind of hard to find parking on ground level sometimes.
If you want summer rolls and more than your typical summer rolls, you've found the right place. They have more than that, like bun bowls, which are equally good. I used to go to their other location, but the Temple City location is convenient.
Came here for lunch with some coworkers and had a blast. We got the spring rolls and banh beo for the table and I got the Banh Hoi Thit Nuong for myself.
Never have had banh beo before but that's a great dish to share. Lots of little cups which make it easy for a group of any number. The beef on the banh Hoi was great and really enjoyed the meal.
Place has some TVs and a good beer selection (and root beers) along with a nice patio. Would be a great weekend spot as well and would definitely like to do that. Alas it was a work day so wasn't able to enjoy that part this time
Came with a group of 5 so we got multiple orders of summer rolls, banh beo, and bun bo hue. All great for sharing and amazing taste. Definitely left very full and happy!
Got seated pretty quick, all our food came out in a timely matter, and got consistent refills on water so no complaints on service for our lunch!
Dining room was medium-sized with a fair amount of tables. The have a patio area too so seems safe to bring small to medium sized groups.
Overall: Great spot and would definitely go again whenever I'm in the area!
